News – Nelson Road Kings

The Nelson Road Kings invite you to join us on September 11th & 12th , 2026 for the 22nd Queen
City Cruise. Online registration is strongly recommended to help volunteers plan for the event,
and to avoid long line ups on the day of the event. Online registration closes on September 9th .
First 500 registrations will be eligible for a door prize.

Friday afternoon: (1:00-6:00 pm)

Meet and Greet at Nelson Chamber of Commerce
Pre-registration packages can be picked up
In person registration opens (closes at 5:30 pm)
Car parade at 6:00 pm (Stunting not permitted and participants are subject to
fines, etc under Motor Vehicle Act)

Saturday

Please do not arrive before 6:30 am. Volunteers need time to stage the event.
All pre-registered vehicles must arrive no later than 9:30 am.
In Person registration opens from 8:00 am -10:00 am
The Nelson Road Kings make no parking guarantee for late arrivals
Trophy presentation starts at 3:00 pm on the 500 block of Baker Street.
Poker walks throughout the day and Poker Run is along the North Shore after
trophy presentation.
Be sure to check out Nelson Downtown for evening entertainment.

The Nelson Road Kings are excited to welcome you back to downtown Nelson for another unforgettable event on September 5th & 6th, 2025!

This year’s show is open to cars, trucks, motorcycles, and big rigs — and yes, even boats and tractors are registered in our “orphan” category.

Expect a weekend full of fun, including poker walks, a poker run, and live entertainment throughout the day.

To help our volunteers with planning and to avoid long lineups, we encourage all participants to complete the online registration before midnight on September 3rd. Early registration also makes you eligible for a special draw!

In-person registration will be available:

Friday, September 5th at the Nelson Chamber of Commerce

Saturday, September 6th on the 500 block of Baker Street

There are a limited number of goody bags and draw prizes available for registered vehicles, so don’t miss out. Please note: vehicles not registered may be towed, as space is limited.

We’re looking forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones. With over 40 trophies to be awarded, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
